How was Bhanwari's murder planned?

Jaipur: One of the most sensational kidnapping case that hogged the headlines of newspaper across the country is not without its own bizarre and hair raising twists and turns. The case is now with the CBI and lots will be out in a matter of time. Like any Agatha Christie story here is a fold by fold story of Bhanwari Devi elimination case of Rajasthan. The entire political edifice of Rajasthan saw itself crumbling as the case was being hushdly being discussed in the corridors of power. Read on:

Sahi Ram Bishnoi meets Shahabuddin and Sohan Lal in Room No 5 of Jodhpur Circuit House between August 4 & 5 and plans to get Bhanwari eliminated on the pretext of paying her Rs 50 lakh

- To win Bhanwari's trust, a kidnap plan is staged in which Shahabuddin alias Raju Bhai saves her on August 15 from people attempting to abduct her in Jodhpur. It was also an attempt to keep Bhanwari away from Mahipal Maderna and Luni MLA Malkhan Singh as she was on her way to meet them.

- Sohan Lal and Bhanwari go to Pipar and buy two stamp papers as Sohan Lal offers to purchase Bhanwari's Swift car for Rs 4.75 lakh on August 28.

- Sohan Lal and Shahabuddin buy two SIM cards while Baldev Jaat robs a man belonging to Jaipur of his mobile phone to use them in the crime.

- Sohan Lal Bishnoi calls Bhanwari Devi to Bilara for the payment of the car. It is also decided that Shahabuddin who is introduced to Bhanwari as Raju Bhai will check the CD which is in possession of Bhanwari showing her and Mahipal Maderna in a compromising position.

- Bhanwari gives two mobile numbers of Sohan Lal and Shahabuddin which were later used in the crime to her husband Amarchand for emergency and leaves for Bilara with driver Faroukh.

- Faroukh leaves Bhanwari at Borunda bus stand while Bhanwari goes to block chief medical officer's office in Bilara to enquire about her surrender leaves. She tells the employees there that she was in Bilara to take the payment of her car sold to Sohan Lal. She stays there till 4 pm.

- Sohan Lal Bishnoi driving the Swift car purchased from Bhanwari, meets Shahabuddin and Baldev at Bilara petrol pump who drives there in a green Bolero. The Bolero belongs to Shahabuddin.

- Sohan Lal asks the two to head towards Barna-Atpada village while he himself leaves to pick up Bhanwari. Baldev and Shahabuddin then heads towards Bilara again after talking with Sohan Lal on phone. They cross Sohan Lal in the Swift car after a few kilometers.

- At that time, a Scorpio also appears. Sohan Lal signalled its driver to drive away. The Scorpio speeds away. Then Sohan Lal and Bhanwari get into Shahabuddin's Bolero while Baldev drives Swift.

- They drive away from there and get tea and snacks from a shop on the way. Then the two vehicles stops at a junction near Khejdala village where Bhanwari gets suspicious and asks them to take her back to Bilara. But acting on instructions of Sahi Ram, they pretend to turn back, but later take U-turn again towards Judali village.

- At this time, Bhanwari starts screaming. CBI suspects Baldev pulls over the Swift, comes to the Bolero and then the trio strangulate the nurse to death.

- They take various routes towards Newara Road. The Scorpio reappears again and then Bhanwari's body is handed over to people in the Scorpio by Sohan Lal and Shahabuddin. Then Shahabuddin's Bolero and the Scorpio head for different directions.

- Baldev Jaat who had been asked to wait in the Swift car before Bhanwari was handed over to some other gang, is picked up by Sohanlal and Shahabuddin at a temple near Ummed Nagar and then they all leave for Jodhpur.

- Sohan Lal and Shahabuddin goes to the house of Rehana and stay there overnight while Baldev goes to his village Kaparda in the Bolero. The next day, Shahabuddin gets a shirt for Sohan Lal from a shop in Sardarpura. Bhanwari's Swift car was given to Jai Ambe Car Repairing in Jodhpur.

- Baldev Jaat gets Rs 50,000 for the job out of which the CBI has recovered Rs 37,000.
